5 Tips To Help You Decide What I Should Be For Halloween

When it comes to deciding what I should be for Halloween, then you need to take your time.  In fact if you can you should be planning your costume at least 6 months in advance.

By taking your time and putting a little more thought when it comes to your costume, will help you to stand out from the rest.

If you are having problems coming up with ideas for a costume then the following tips may well prove useful.

Tip 1 – Look Back To See What You Wore Before

If at all possible avoid wearing a costume that you’ve worn before.   But you may find you can gain some inspiration for a new costume by looking back at what you’ve worn.  You could end up saving yourself a whole lot of time and money by turning a costume you already have into something else.
Tip 2 – Think Of What Interests You

Make up a list of the things that you enjoy and then use these as the basis for your costume.   You could of course always dress up as one of your favorite characters from a TV show or movie.  But be prepared as there are going to be plenty of others who will be doing the same.  This year as in the last couple you’ll find that “Game of Thrones“, “The Walking Dead” and “Breaking Bad” will prove popular.

Tip 3 – Set Yourself A Budget

When it comes to you deciding “what should I be for Halloween” money will play an important role.   If you are looking to buy a costume rather than make your own check to see what is included, often what you find is that you get the main costume, but any accessories need to be purchased separately.   Once you start buying accessories the amount you set aside, could soon be gone.   You may also find that buy searching online you can get some real bargains.

Tip 4 – Don’t Leave It Until The Last Minute

As we’ve already suggested getting your costume organised well in advance is a great idea.  If you leave it until the last minute to buy your costume, you’ll often find that the best ones have already been sold.  As a result what you may find is that the costumes available aren’t in your size or to your taste.

Tip 5 – Think About Group Costumes

If you are intending to go to a party or trick or treating with friends then why not go for costumes that match.  Either all choose to wear the same costume or choose a particular theme.   You could always consider going as characters from “The Simpsons” or “Scooby Doo”.  If you do decide to take this route when it comes to deciding what should I be for Halloween agree on a idea with your friends first.
